Ad Push Notification

Really sick and tired of these weekly push notifications reminding me to use this app. I dont fly a lot, but I paid $4.99 for this app and I dont think I should be hassled to use it. I want to be able to turn off this obnoxious notification.

UPDATE: I shouldnt have to disable notifications for the app to not receive self-promotion thru push notifications. I paid for the app because I didnt want ads. With your suggestion of turning off notifications, that might screw me over should I forget to enable them when I do need to use the app for traveling. Also, these notifications seem to conflict with Apples App Store Review guidelines, specifically 4.5.3: "Do not use Apple Services to spam, phish, or send unsolicited messages to customers, including Game Center, Push Notifications, etc." Sending: "Be sure youll be on time at the airport with Planes Live app ✈️" is definitely an unsolicited message sent through the push notification system.
